When you start a Chrysalis course, there’s plenty to do outside of the classroom. In addition to the assignments you’ll already be given, Chrysalis will also, where needed:
- Run some optional webinars with experienced tutors to start the ball rolling (these webinars won’t replace your classroom work – they’re a free addition.)
- Adding additional assignments to your online student platform
- Provide additional reading
- Cover a bit more theory work first.
Once you enrol you’ll be given all the support you need and will be able to complete your course in the normal amount of time.
There’s never been a greater demand for counsellors and therapists. In 2013, the Government set up a voluntary regulation scheme that includes counselling and other therapies, called the Accredited Register (AR) scheme. People will increasingly want to only use counsellors and hypnotherapists who meet the standards and who belong to an AR.
