The Duchess of cambridge, Kate Middleton, will become a guest editor for the Huffington Post UK for a day next month to help raise awareness of mental health in young people.

Kate, who has made this issue a key area of focus of recent years, will invite top leader in the field to contribute.

The duchess prepared a public service announcement last year during children's mental health week to shine a light on the issue.

"William and I sincerely believe that early action can prevent problems in childhood from turning into larger ones later in life,” she said

Kate, urged greater action on mental health initiatives in the PSA, saying, "The stigma around mental health means that they do not get the help they so badly need. This needs to change."

The duchess has stepped up her efforts in the mental health arena since returning to work after the birth of Princess Charlotte. And with Prince George now settled in nursery school, she will have more time to devote to her work.
