This one-day CPD workshop is essential for all qualified hypnotherapists to be fully competent to teach your clients self-hypnosis. Most hypnotherapists agree that clients who use hypnosis themselves between sessions and after a course of sessions gain greater benefit from their therapy.
It is not true that self-hypnosis is the client simply playing a recording of the hypnotic session at home. Self-hypnosis is an active process. For a client, it is the art of being able to take themselves into hypnosis, give themselves positive suggestions, and gain benefit not only from those suggestions, but also through an empowering knowledge that those suggestions are their own.
Much contemporary research proposes that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis and this theory will be explored further in this workshop. Also explored will be the vital role that suggestion plays in both hypnotherapy and self-hypnosis and the importance of knowing how to construct the right kind of suggestions.
Self-hypnosis can be taught to your clients in simple and practical ways and this workshop will give you the tools to do this so you can add this to your therapeutic repertoire.
