Natalie has an MA in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice from the University of Nottingham. Natalie specialised in working with Children and Young People. Before training as a counsellor she was a teacher for 30 years. Natalie currently see clients in private practice in Nottingham.
Natalie's experience has been gained in the NHS, a youth charity, and educational settings. She has worked with young clients at Place2Be in primary schools, as well as BASE 51, a youth charity, in Nottingham as part of the Evolution programme which was funded by the Notts Police Violence Reduction Unit.
Natalie is part of a research team based at The Institute of Mental Health, University of Nottingham, investigating the effects of attending a Forest School intervention program on Key Stage 2 pupils with a diagnosed learning difficulty.
Natalie has further qualifications in TA 101 from The Berne Institute and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) from The Family Place, Hay on Wye and has also undertaken supplementary training in sand tray therapy and supporting Neuro-divergent clients.
