Marion Elkin

Marion is a genuine, down to earth individual with many years of experience in the mental health and addictions field. She offers and practices virtual video therapy and clinical supervision from her home in the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.

Marion is a Licensed Psychologist and a Certified Addictions Therapist, working with adults to overcome mental health issues and addiction. She has been a Psychologist, Tutor, and Mental Health Trainer for 25 years and absolutely loves what she does.

Marion was trained and educated in the United States where she graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s in counselling psychology. She also had a successful private practice in Chicago, IL for over 10 years.

Marion moved back to Scotland in 2014 and returned to university to complete a Professional Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Marion an integrative psychologist utilising a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Person-Centred Therapy to name a few. Her primary passion is teaching and mental health awareness.

In her spare time, she spend a lot of time at the beach or exploring the local forest preserve with her kids and dogs. She also loves photography and to travel as much as she can.
