Lauren Eede is a qualified integrative counsellor and has a masters in youth studies and criminology. Her specialism was moulded towards addiction services and has worked in many agencies over the UK treating drug and alcohol clients. Her main area of expertise and skills are within trauma, addiction and young adult services although she has covered a wide demographic in her years of experience. Lauren also has her own private practice in Brighton as well as working for an online platform and for an independent trauma agency, Stepping Stones based in Worthing.
During her career, Lauren has worked abroad in Australia where she ran the Meth programme at a maximum-security prison in Melbourne, she has also been a case manager for asylum seekers and refugees, worked in the domestic violence sector, been a counsellor at a rehab facility and worked with many complex cases including clients on the autistic spectrum and clients with personality disorders and severe mental afflictions such as psychosis and bipolar. This varied experience has given her a good insight to the needs of varying clients across all demographics.
