Elaine King

Elaine is a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor running a private practice in Marlborough, offering therapy to individual clients. Her private practice sees her work with patients who are experiencing Trauma, Inner Child Theory, Attachment and Abandonment, Depression and Anxiety.

Elaine's training placement saw her work for Swindon Mind, working within the newly developed Self Harmony team. They specialise in working with patients who experience Self-Harm, PTSD, Suicidal Tendencies and patients who are experiencing server Psychosis.

Elaine is also a qualified Mindfulness Practitioner and Teacher running Mindfulness Classes and offering one to one; eight week programmes for individuals. She blends elements of mindfulness into the counselling sessions as this is a vital tool to help stabilise patients with trauma.
